The engagement of Becca Schmoyer of Hoboken, N.J. to Matthew Ohlsen, also of Hoboken, has been announced by their parents.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of John and Karen Schmoyer of Wyomissing, Pa. She is a graduate of Penn State University, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in hotel and restaurant management. She is currently employed by Starwood Hotels as the director of revenue management at the W Hoboken hotel in Hoboken.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Cindy and David Henritzy of Lehighton, and the late John Ohlsen. He is a graduate of Penn State University with a bachelor of science in mathematics. He is employed as an associate at Buck Consultants in Secaucus, N.J.
A wedding is being planned for the spring of 2011.
