Coal Crackers win third straight tourney
The Coal Crackers 17-18 year-old volleyball team recently won its third consecutive tournament championship.
The team, which is comprised of Marian High School varsity team members, captured the AAU Volleyball East Tournament at Lancaster Bible College on Sunday, March 21.
The Coal Crackers rolled to a 12-0 record, improving their mark to 35-0 so far this tournament season.
Team members included Cathleen Cataldo, Nikki Collevechio, Katelyn Collevechio, Laura Cinicola, Kathleen Reilly, Marykate Sherkness, Taylor Mele, Rachel Krajcirik, Tori Vadyak and Gillian Ferko. They were coached by Maria Currie and Jess Yorke.
