Code officer doing her job

Dear Editor:

I'm a resident of Lansford. A few weeks ago our Code Enforcement Officer was critized for doing her job regarding snow removal. Perhaps if the District Magistrate did his job by handing out fines appropriate to the offense, more people would clear their sidewalks.

I want to give a thank you to Kathryn Labosky for doing her job. At 9 a.m. Friday, March 12, 2010, I field a complaint regarding piles and piles of dog crap in my neighbor's rear yard. By that afternoon, Friday, March 12, 2010,, it had almost all been cleaned up. It's sad that people don't accept the responsibility that go with owning pets.
