Forty-seven members attended the March 22 meeting of the Panther Valley Golden Agers. The inspirational reading "Spring Time" was read of Irene Hudasky. Irish melodies were sung by the chorus conducted by Marian Shuler.
Seventeen ladies paraded around the hall to the tune of "Peter Cottontail" and "In Your Easter Bonnet." The guest of the day was Helen Rizzo, mother of Marian Shuler. Helen celebrated her 96 birthday recently.
Birthday celebrations for April and May will be rescheduled at a later date. The next meeting will be held April 12, following the annual Memorial Mass at St. Joseph's Church in Summit Hill. The club's chorus will lead the singing and the public is invited.
