Second robbery reported in Monroe

A second robbery by two male suspects was reported in Monroe County. Pocono Mountain Regional police said the second robbery occurred at the Radio Shack along SR940 in the Mt. Pocono Plaza on Sunday, March 28, about 5:19 p.m. The first robbery was reported on Friday evening at the AT&T store in Mt. Pocono. Details of the frist robbery appeared on the police log on Monday on page 2.

In the latest incident two men entered the business through a rear door. They placed an employee on the ground and then dragged her behind an aisle. The suspects then placed something in the employees back and threatened to hurt her if she moved.

The suspects removed an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency from the store and fled out the rear door. The suspects were described as both wearing black pants, black ski masks, one a black hooded sweatshirt and one a brown hooded sweatshirt, and drivng a black, four-door vehicle.
