Schuylkill man wanted for assault

A Schuylkill County man is wanted in connection with a domestic assault incident.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Joshua Wasilius, 32, of Pottsville, is being sought for assaulting Sonja Karkanica, 22, of Pine Grove. The incident occurred on April 25 about 2:45 p.m. at a residence along Muskee Lane, in Pine Grove. Wasilius is facing a charge of simple assault for having a physical altercation wtih Karkanica.

Troopers also reported two county residents were both cited for harassment. On Monday, May 3, about 2:14 p.m. troopers responded to 15 Lamar Lane, North Manheim Township, to a report of two males fighting. Upon arrival officers found that Lamar Gouldin, 73, and Curtis Guildin, 53, were fighting each other over a dispute about trash.
