Correction to Raider discus results

In Tuesday's edition, the results of the the discus competition that were submitted to the TIMES NEWS from the Tamaqua-Blue Mountain track and field meet were incorrect.

Tamaqua swept the event, with Allison Updike placing first with a throw of 96 feet, two inches. Stacey Wallace was second and Christine Streisel third. The order of finish and the winning distance were wrong.

Updike finished the meet with three first places, also winning the shot put and javelin.
