That's a Colombian, not a Columbian ...
Dear Editor:
The April 27th edition of the paper, in the Entertainment section, has an article describing a visit by executives from the country of COLOMBIA to the Jim Thorpe Rotary Club. The article spells the name of the country as "COLUMBIA" which is the spelling for the university in New York City. I just wanted to make sure that you knew that the spelling for the country in South America is "COLOMBIA" and that a resident of that country is a COLOMBIAN not a COLUMBIAN.
Thank you.
