Two cited for drug violations

Two Carbon County males have been charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

State police at Lehighton conducted a traffic stop at 12:15 p.m. May 2 in East Penn Township, which yielded a DUI-suspended driver.

Both the driver, Jason Shoenberger, 32, of Lehighton, and the passenger, David Dicher, 37, of Palmerton, were each found to be in possession of small amounts of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Both were taken into custody and charged.
