Top art student honored

Kate Light, daughter of Eric and Amy Light of Lehighton, is the recipient of the Art and Writing Award, which is a national recognition. Light had her work juried in New York as part of the award. She is a senior art student at Lehighton Area High School and plans to study philosophy at Northampton Community College.
