Lehighton woman facing DUI charge

A Lehighton woman has been charged with one count of driving under the influence (DUI).

Lisa Bowman, 38, was observed operating a vehicle along Long Run Road, south of Forest Street, in Franklin Township, at 1:50 a.m. May 1.

Bowman was observed driving erratically, crossing the double yellow lines and fog line several times. A traffic stop was initiated, and Bowman was determined to be under the influence.

Bowman submitted to a test of her breath and her blood alcohol concentration was .134 percent. Charges will be filed.
