Schuylkill crash

State police at Frackville reported investigating a two-vehicle crash about 6:15 p.m. on Friday, May 7, at the intersection of Sweet Arrow Lake Road and Lovers Lane in Pine Grove Township.

Troopers said John Worhach, 21, of Pine Grove, was stopped at the intersection and pulled out into the path of an eastbound vehicle operated by Michelle A. Schwalm, 50, of Pine Grove. Schwalm attempted to avoid a collision but her 1997 Ford Explorer struck the rear of Worhach's 1992 Ford F205 truck with the front end.

Schwalm sustained a minor injury in the mishap but did not require medical attention. Worhach was not injured.

Troopers cited Worhach for stop signs and yield signs.
