Slatington driver facing charges

A Slatington driver is facing charges following an incident that occurred about 1:30 a.m. on April 5 at Main and W. Washington streets, in the borough.

Police said Adam Leibold, 25, of 6678 Leah Drive, was involved in a hit-and-run accident at the above- stated location in which his vehicle damaged a borough street sign and also struck an unoccupied structure to the rear of 1010 Main St. He then fled the scene.

Police said they located Leibold later in the day and arrested him for accidents involving damage to unattended property and criminal mischief.
