Vehicle stop on I-81 leads to DUI count
A vehicle stop along Interstate 81 in Butler Township, Schuylkill County, has led to the arrest of a Westmoreland County driver for driving under the influence (DUI).
State police at Frackville said about 4:50 a.m. on Sunday, May 9, a vehicle was observed traveling southbound matching the description of a vehicle given to troopers as swerving off the road and traveling along the shoulder.
A vehicle stop was made and the driver identified as Brian Lindbloom Jr., 24, of North Huntingdon. He was found to be under the influence and transported to the Schuylkill Medical Center South, Pottsville, for a blood test. The DUI charge is pending the test results.
