Locals on MVC all-star mat squad

Twelve local TIMES NEWS wrestlers earned themselves a spot on this year's Mountain Valley Conference 2010 All-Star teams.

Pleasant Valley's Jordan Toledo led the area by attaining the highest honors being named the conference's Most Valuable Players.

The Bears' Sean Bianco, Mike Dahlstrom, Mike Pokrinchak, Jacob Chamberlain and Alex Yanovich and the Indians' David Lucykanish grabbed First Team selections.

Pleasant Valley's Ernest Klingel, Cameron Kromelbein and Hunter Deihl and Lehighton's John Mertz and Briar Stern finished off the honors with Second Team spots.
