Monroe incident

State police at Fern Ridge reported responding to an incident on Saturday, May 8, about 2:57 p.m. along SR209 near the Monroe Plaza in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County.

At that location troopers said Cheryl Bartee and Angelle Bartee, both of Blakeslee, and Laura Peebles and Mandy Peebles, both of Mt. Vernon, N.Y., got into an argument and began to slap each other in the face and pull each others' hair. During the altercation a cell phone and a window screen were damaged. Troopers indicate harassment and criminal mischief charges were pending.
