Fillies, Bulldogs win with playoff impact
Marian clinched a district softball playoff berth aqnd Northern Lehigh earned the top seed for the Colonial League baseball playoffs on Friday.

Jake Kern blasted a two-run homer in the sixth inning to help lift Northern Lehigh to a 3-2 Colonial League win over rival Palmerton.
With the score tied 1-1 with one on and two outs in top of the sixth, Kern went deep to put Nolehi on top. The Bombers responded with a run in the home sixth nut could get no closer than the final 3-2 score.
Matt Gill had three hits and a run scored for the Bulldogs (14-6; 13-3) while Eric Snyder tossed a three-hitter to gain the pitching win.
For Palmerton (0-19; 0-16), Aaron Cook and Travis Verzino each had a hit and a run scored while Tyler Hahn had a hit and an RBI.

Pleasant Valley-
Stroudsburg
Pleasant Valley hit four homers and also used a 16-run second inning to post a 25-6 Mountain Valley Conference win over host Stroudsburg.
Pat Kregeloh, Jake Chamberlain, Travis Raseley and Tim Shea all went deep for the Bears, who finished regular season play with a 17-3 record and an 11-1 mark in the MVC.
Kregeloh finished the contest 3-for-4 with three runs scored and seven RBIs while Chamberlain had two hits, two runs and knocked in six.
PV also received three hits, four runs and two RBIs from Derrik Walling. Rob Getz added three hits and three hits scored, Shea had five RBIs, Drew Berger drew four walks and scored four times, and Chris D'Arcy had three hits.

Marian-Nativity
Alexa Nemeth fanned seven batters and pitched a five-hit shutout as Marian scored a 6-0 win over Nativity.
Nina Curran had a double to drive in the first run in the Fillies big sixth inning. She also had a single. Shannon Skotek had a solo home run in the seventh inning.
Marian is now 10-7 overall and 8-6 in Schuylkill League play.

Wilson-Palmerton
Palmerton picked up its sixth win of the season with a 2-1 Colonial League triumph over Wilson.
Alex Paulino and Morgan Meyers scored goals for the Bombers, who were outshot by Wilson 9-7. Kelsey Eaton had six saves in goal for Palmerton, while Kate Kelly had two saves for Wilson.
Aladinn Mease scored the lone goal for Wilson.
