Charged with DUI

Charges were filed against a Summit Hill man after he almost hit a police cruiser.

According to Summit Hill police, at 10:51 p.m., on April 3, police were monitoring an intersection in the borough when a vehicle, driven by Edward Alan Gusick, 45, of 206 S. Oak St., swerved and almost hit the police car. A traffic stop was conducted and an investigation revealed that Gusick was under the influence of alcohol.

He was charged with driving under the influence (DUI) and careless driving.
