Luzerne cyclist killed in crash

A Luzerne County motorcyclist was killed in a crash on Sunday afternoon.

State police at Hazleton said John L. Dellisanti, 48, of Hazleton, was operating a 2000 Harley-Davidson southbound on Hazle Township Blvd., in Hazle Township, about 3:55 p.m. when he failed to negotiate a curve in the road and lost control. Dellisanti was thrown from the bike and sustained head trauma. He was taken to the Hazleton General Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
