Luzerne driver facing DUI count

A Luzerne County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) in Monroe County.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said on Friday, May 7, about 2:20 a.m. officers stopped a vehicle along SR115 in Tunkhannock Township. The driver was identified as Daniel Reposh, 40, of Bear Creek Township. Officers detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage on Reposh. He failed field sobriety tests and was taken to the county DUI center for a blood test.

The DUI charge is pending the test results, police said.
