Incident at Monroe market is probed

State police at Fern Ridge are investigating an incident at the Weis Market in Brodheadsville, Monroe County.

On May 13 about 6:35 p.m. a black male entered the store and confused the cashier when asking for change for larger bills. Numerous bills were passed back and forth resulting in the cashiers' drawer being short $146.

The suspect was described as having black hair and wearing a green shirt.
