Teen cited for doing 'burn outs'

An Andreas teen has been cited by Tamaqua police after he was observed doing "burn outs" in the Burger King Restaurant parking lot off Center St., on Friday.

Officer Tom Duarte was on patrol at 11:35 p.m. when he observed a maroon Mercury driving in circles in the fast food restaurant's lot. Several people were cheering the driver, identified as Michael John Fannock, 19, of 1152 Spring Rd.

Fannock was cited for disorderly conduct and careless driving.
