Lehighton's Tiffany Harleman and Katrina Reppert will both continue their academic and field hockey careers by attending Lebanon Valley College.

Harleman was a member of the Indians' state championship team this past fall and was a three-year varsity letter winner. She played in 24 games this year earning two goals and two assists.

"(Tiffany) played any of the forward positions and improved from the beginning of the season and summer when she was out with mono," said Lehighton field hockey coach Shawn Hindy. "Tiff is the ultimate team player and wants the team to win and succeed regardless of what she does individually."

Harleman is also in the Top 10 Percent, National Honor Society, Red Cross Club and the Xcalibur Field Hockey Club. The daughter of David and Ann Harleman, Tiffany also was a member of the track team as a freshman and sophomore.

Reppert was also a member of the Indians' state championship team and was a two-year starter at the varisty level. She played in all 26 games this year, starting 21 of them, including all the teams's playoff games.

"(Katrina) played left halfback and really improved her fitness and skills over last summer and it showed in the season," said Shawn Hindy. "She wanted to be the starter and play and she asked me what it would take, and she worked on what was needed."

Lebanon Valley College is a Division III school. The Dutchmen finished 19-4 in 2009, advancing to the NCAA third round for the third time in the last four years. They finished the season ranked seventh in the nation by the NFHCA.
