Schuylkill driver facing DUI charge

A Schuylkill County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following an incident that occurred about 4:29 a.m. on Sunday, May 16, in the area of 583 Berne Drive, in South Manheim Township.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Brittney Fisher, 22, of Auburn, was encountered by a trooper attempting to get her vehicle out of a ditch. Upon further investigation it was determined she was intoxicated. She was then placed under arrest for DUI, troopers said.
