Tamaqua couple wed 60 years
Mr. and Mrs. Chester Frantz on their wedding day.
Mildred and Chester Frantz of Tamaqua celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary recently.
They were married on May 20, 1950 at St. John's Church in Howertown by the Rev. George Laubach.
Mrs. Frantz is the daughter of the late Edwin and Anna Kosman.
Mr. Frantz is the son of the late Grover and Josephine Frantz.
They have three children: Joanne Gordan and her husband, David, of Youngstown, Ohio; Lynn Warkala, and her husband, Greg, of Lehighton; and Richard Frantz, and his wife, Louise.
The couple also has seven grandchildren: Danny, David, Samantha, Mariah, Michael, Kaitlyn and Sarah.
