Crashes probed

State police at Fern Ridge reported investigating a two vehicle crash recently.

The crash occurred about 4:16 p.m. on May 20 along SR115 in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County. Troopers said Linda S. Wiles, 58, of Stroudsburg, and Chalsa J. Reichard, 17, of Kunkletown, were both northbound. Troopers said Wiles was traveling at a speed greater than Reichard resulting in the front of her 2001 Pontiac Aztek hitting the rear of Reichard's 1989 Ford Escort.

Reichard sustained a minor injury and was taken to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, by West End ambulance. Wiles was not injured. Wiles was cited for following too closely, troopers said.
