Cyclist injured in Schuylkill crash

A motorcyclist was injured in a crash that occurred about 4:45 p.m. Monday, May 24, in Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said David Snyder, 53, of St. Clair, was operating a 2007 Honda Shadow southbound on SR209 in New Philadelphia when he lost control. The bike fell onto its right side and slid about 15 feet where it came to rest in the southbound lane.

Snyder was transported to the Schuylkill Medical Center South, Pottsville, for treatment of injuries. Troopers said he was wearing a helmet.
