Two charged after incident at market
Two persons were charged following an incident at Renninger's Market parking lot in North Manheim Township, Schuylkill County.
State police at Schuylkill Haven said Stacy Kemmerer, 30, of Hamburg, and Ralph Miller, 54, of Minersville, engaged in a confrontation at the market about 12:40 p.m. on Sunday, May 23. During the confrontation Miller grabbed the cell phone of Kemmerer from her and told her he would keep it as collateral and walked outside.
Outside as Miller was attempting to enter his vehicle Kemmerer stepped in front of the car door and the two got into a physical altercation during which Miller threw Kemmerer's cell phone into the parking lot cracking the phone.
Troopers said both Miller and Kemmerer were charged with harassment. Miller was also charged with criminal mischief for the incident with the phone.
Troopers said a white male in a red and white Ford pickup truck witnessed the incident and is asked to call troopers at (570) 593-2000.
