November 1, 2002 Walter Johnson catches seven passes for 103 yards and a touchdown to help Jim Thorpe gain an 18-7 victory over Lehighton. Johnson opens the scoring with an eight-yard scoring toss from Dan Flizack. Justin Young reaches the end zone on a four-yard TD run while Carl Storms also tallies by recovering a blocked punt by William Kunkel in the end zone. The winners, coached by Mark Rosenberger, also receive 125 yards rushing from Jason Figura.
