Kwak named Silberline research scientist

Silberline Manufacturing Co., Inc., the global supplier of effect pigments with its Corporate Headquarters in Tamaqua, announced the appointment of Dr. Yungwan Kwak to the position of Research Scientist at the Tidewood facility.

Dr. Kwak holds several academic degrees: a Bachelor of Science degree in Polymer Science and Engineering from Sunchon National University in South Korea, a Master of Science degree in Engineering and a Doctor of Engineering (Ph.D.) degree from Kyoto University in Japan.

Most recently, Dr. Kwak held the position of Research Associate at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.

Dr. Kwak and his wife, Mika, currently reside in Breinigsville.
