Going pink for breast cancer awareness
Students enrolled in cosmetology classes at Carbon Career and Technical Institute, Jim Thorpe, raised $558 for the Carbon-Tamaqua Unit of the American Cancer Society by putting semi-permanent pink streaks in clients' hair in October in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
