Fundraiser a success

Dear Editor:

On behalf of Joyce and Richard "Digger" Bloom, we want to thank all those who generously donated their time and efforts in making our fundraiser a success. We, especially, want to thank those who donated baskets for the raffle, tickets, food and supplies for the dinner, all who made monetary donations to the cause and the Jim Thorpe Area School District and L.B. Morris staff without whom this could not have been possible.

Additionally, we extend our gratitude to those who attended the spaghetti dinner, which was held Oct. 9, 2010. The response from the local communities was overwhelming.

The support, compassion and generosity shown by all are greatly appreciated.
