Fraud/forgery being investigated

State police at Lehighton are investigating a fraud/forgery incident.

Troopers said Stanley R. Brown, 450 Bear Creek Lake Drive, Jim Thorpe, Penn Forest Township, reported he believes he lost his MasterCard on Oct. 16. The card was then used at the Sunoco Service Station along SR209 in the township, on four separate occasions between that date and Nov. 5 to make purchases totaling $151.01.
