Monroe man jailed for gun incident

A Monroe County man was jailed on Friday, Nov. 5, following a gun shooting incident at his residence.

State police at Lehighton said Jody W. Buchman, 50, of Stone Hill Rd., Saylorsburg, Ross Township, fired a shot from a shotgun out of his residence about 7:06 a.m. while two females, ages 39 and 17 were outside nearby.

Buchman was taken into custody and arraigned on charges of simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, harassment and disorderly conduct. He was committed to the county prison in Snydersville after failing to post $25,000 bail.
