A Schuylkill County woman has been cited for retail theft.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Renee Hunt, 24, of Pottsville, was cited for an incident that occurred about 1:05 p.m. on Nov. 5 at the Rite Aid pharmacy located at 44 King Plaza, SR901, in Branch Township.

Hunt allegedly placed three pairs of earrings, three eye liners, mascara and a pencil sharpener into the front pocket of her hooded shirt and left the store without paying for the items. The items are valued at $38.02.

She was stopped by the store manager outside and held until the arrival of troopers. She was also charged with disorderly conduct, troopers added. All the items were recovered.
