Schuylkill man facing charges

A Schuylkill County man is facing a charge of criminal mischief following an incident that occurred about 10 p.m. on Nov. 4 along the Pottsville-Minersville highway near McNulty Carpet firm, in Branch Township.

Troopers allege that Gregory Aungst, 38, of Pine Grove, ripped the rear-view mirror off the windshield of the 2000 Chrysler Concorde of Brenda Setlock 44, of Minersville.

The action caused the mirror to break and the windshield to crack, troopers said.
