Speed blamed for Schuylkill crash

Speed was blamed for a one-vehicle crash that occurred about 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 13, in Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said Mikel D. Burrrows, 21, of Shenandoah, was driving a 2007 Toyota Corolla southbound at a high rate of speed when he lost control. The car struck guide rail along the median. Burrows and passengers Saiquan J. Daring, 19, and Desmonta D. Kent, 20, both of Shenandoah, were all not injured.

Burrows was cited for driving a vehicle at an (un) safe speed.
