Two businesses cited by PLCB

Two Monroe County businesses have been cited by the Wilkes-Barre enforcement office of the state liquor control board.

Patrick C. Kenny, LLC, located along SR115, at Box 2555, Blakeslee, Tunkhannock Township, and Conquistador, LLC, trading as Don Quixote, located at SR314 and Manor Drive, in Pocono Manor, Pocono Township, were both cited for sold alcoholic beverages after their restaurant liquor license expired on Sept. 30 and had not been renewed and/or validated.

The charges will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious offenses. In addition, the judge can also impose a license suspension or revocation of the license based on the severity of the charge brought.
