Deer-vehicle meet on Schuylkill road
A deer and a vehicle met unexpectedly early Wednesday, Nov. 17, on a Schuylkill County road.
State police at Schuylkill Haven said Nicole M. Murray, 27, of Frackville, was driving a 2002 Kia Spectra northbound on SR61 about 12:10 a.m. in West Brunswick Township, when a deer entered the road in front of her.
She was unable to stop and struck the deer while in the left lane. Murray was not injured but damages were disabling to the vehicle.
