Kresgeville couple wed 50 years
Mr. and Mrs. Gene Borger
Gene and Sandy Borger of Kresgeville celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 29.
Mr. Borger is the son of the late Leroy and Esther (Buskirk) Borger. Mrs. Borger is the daughter of the late William Getz and Madalyn (Griffith) Getz.
A surprise party was hosted in their honor by their children, with 90 guests and family members enjoying an evening of dinner and dancing.
The Borgers have two children: a daughter, Donna Diehl, wife of Chip; and a son, Douglas Borger, and his fiancee Arlene Dunkleberger, all of Kunkletown.
They have one grandson, Hunter Diehl.
