November 22, 2002 Austin Bleam leads an impressive Northwestern rushing attack and the Tigers hang on to earn a 28-27 victory over Trinity in the PIAA Class AA playoffs. Bleam carries 16 times for 131 yards and a touchdown as NW gains 323 yards on the ground. Pete McCauley also tops the 100-yard mark, finishing with 122 and a TD on 21 attempts. Bleam scores on a 14-yard run while McCauley tallies on a two-yard carry. Quarterback Roland Kern breaks loose for a 21-yard TD run and also throws a 43-yard scoring pass to Ray Keshel.
