Assault incident being probed

State police at Frackville are investigating a reported assault incident in Schuylkill County.

Troopers said about 10 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 21, they responded to the Blue Knob Rod & Gun Club, located along Phinneyville Rd., in East Union Township, for an incident of harassment and assault. Troopers said four unknown white males were four-wheeling on all terrain vehicles (ATV) on the gun club property and were confronted by Robert A. Clark, 62, of Shenandoah.

One of the four males struck Clark on the side of the head with a closed fist causing damage to his glasses. The males were all wearing helmets and could not be identified by the victim. The suspects then fled the scene.
