Carbon driver facing DUI charge

A Carbon County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following an incident that occurred about 10:28 p.m. on Nov. 18, along SR903 in Penn Forest Township.

State police at Lehighton said John Kline, 53, of Jim Thorpe, was driving a Pontiac G5 when he was stopped for a traffic violation. He was found to be under the influence and taken for a blood/alcohol content test. The DUI charge is pending the test results, troopers said.
