Benefit volleyball game at PVMS

Panther Valley School District will be doing a volleyball student vs. faculty tournament this year on Sunday, Dec. 5 at 6 p.m.. at the Panther Valley Middle school.

The school is involving the students this year, especially since Cody Cinicola is currently battling cancer and is going through treatments right now at Children's Hospital in Philadelphia.

The doors will open at 5 p.m. with the kitchen being open with many foods available (haluski, turkey bbq, beef bbq) just to name a few.

The games begin at 6 p.m. and they will once again have the basket raffle as in the past.

Baskets will be chanced off at intermission of the event.

St. John's

There will be no Wednesday evening supper, Bible study, and worship held at St. John's Lutheran Church, 1 East Abbott Street, Lansford, this evening.

Normal schedule will resume on Wednesday, Dec. 1.
