Vehicle stop leads to warrant arrests
A vehicle stop by Pocono Mountain Regional police led to the driver being charged with several vehicle code violations and the determination that the two passengers had active warrants for their arrest.
The incident occurred about 9:28 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 22, along SR940 at Harvest Lane. A vehicle was observed traveling eastbound and then the driver made an illegal U-turn to go westbound. A vehicle stop was made. The vehicle had an expired registration plate on it. The driver, Brittany Kline, 24, of Middleburg, was issued several traffic citations.
Two passengers in the vehicle were identified to have active warrants for their arrest. Adam Gaydos, 25, of Plains Township, was taken into custody for a warrant by Edwardsville police for felony forgery. Jamie DeJohn, 27, of Pittston, was wanted on a warrant from Luzerne County court for failure to appear.
Gaydos was turned over to Edwardville police and DeJohn was lodged in the county prison in Snydersville pending return to Luzerne County.
