Chainsaws stolen from Monroe shed

The theft of four chainsaws from a shed on a property in Ross Township, Monroe County, is being investigated by state police at the Lehighton barracks.

The victim is Joseph Todaro, 43, of 219 Evergreen Court, Saylorsburg.

He told police someone removed the chainsaws from his shed between 11 p.m. Nov. 20 and 9 a.m. Nov. 21.

The saws are described as follows: a Poulan, 20-inch saw, yellow in color and having an "R" engraved on it; a Craftsman, 16-inch saw, red in color and also having the "R" engraved on it; an unknown brand, orange, camouflage-colored 16-inch saw; and a Craftsman Best Gray chainsaw that had no blade in it.
