Driver to be cited after accident

Tracee Hoppes, 45, of Pine Grove, will be cited by state police at the Frackville barracks with failure to yield to oncoming traffic after an accident Nov. 24 at 6:46 a.m. at the intersection oe Summer Valley Road (Rt. 895) and East Rausch Road in East Brunswick Township.

Police said she was driving a 2003 Dodge Stratus that stopped at the above intersection and proceeded into the path of a 2004 Chevrolet 2500 pickup truck operated by David Leinbach, 48, of Tamaqua, who was westbound on Summer Valley Road at the time.

Both vehicles sustained "disabling" damages and required towing from the scene, according to police.
