Lehighton man charged with DUI

Nicholas Gildner, 31, of Lehighton, is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol as a result of a traffic stop on Nov. 24 at 11:50 p.m. at the intersection of Rt. 248 and State Road in Franklin Township.

State police at the Lehighton barracks said he was stopped after police observed him committing numerous traffic violations, after which time it was determined he was operating the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

He was driving a 2004 Toyota truck at the time.
