Damages at school probed in Tamaqua

Tamaqua police are investigating an act of criminal mischief that resulted in damages to the Tamaqua Elementary School on Boyle Avenue.

Officers were dispatched to the school at 8 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, after custodians discovered a broken window in the front lobby. The building had been secured following a dance on Friday night. Damages were estimated at $1,000.
