New Ringgold couple celebrates 30 years

Mr. and Mrs. Michael Oswald of New Ringgold will celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary on Oct. 4. They were married in St. John United Church of Christ, Tamaqua, by the Rev. Dr. John Gilmore.

Mrs. Oswald is the former Claudene Kamant, daughter of Joseph Kamant of Tamaqua and the late Janet Sherry Kamant. She is employed at the Mahoning Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Lehighton, as a certified nurse's aide.

Mr. Oswald is the son of Barbara Oswald of New Ringgold and the late John Oswald Sr. He is employed by Sears, Whitehall, as a service technician.

The couple has two children: Allicia Oswald of New Ringgold, companion of Arlin Greene; and Matthew Oswald of Tamaqua, married to Heather Oswald. They also have one grandson, Parker Oswald of Tamaqua.
